More aid to Koshi-hit people

KATHMANDU, Sept 2 - The government of the Republic of Korea Tuesday provided US$ 30,000 (about Rs 2.1 million) to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund as part of the humanitarian assistance to Nepal. "The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Nam Sang-jung handed over the fund to Minister for Foreign Affairs Upendra Yadav," a statement issued by Korean Embassy said. Meanwhile, the ICTC Group of companies including its affiliate companies Highland Distillery Pvt Ltd, Prime International Pvt Ltd and Premier Insurance Company Limited has donated Rs 1.1 million rupees to the PM's Fund. Chairman and Managing Director of ICTC Dinesh Lal Shrestha handed over the cheque carrying the amount to the PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal, said a statement issued by it on Tuesday.
Likewise, International Money Express (IME) Pvt Ltd has donated Rs 560,000 to the PM's fund. Executive Chairman of the company Chandra Prasad Dhakal handed over the money to PM Dahal on Tuesday.
